The Importance of Package Design
I love design, especially product packaging design. If you take the same product and brand it in two different ways, the perception, target market and chances of success for the same product will change.
There’s quite a few online businesses who sell their unique, handmade products – i.e. beauty products, hand creams, homemade candles, jewelry etc.
How you package those products is incredibly important – it will help define your brand, your level of professionalism and will help sell the products on the website.
I just came across this website – The Dieline. It’s showcases beautiful package design across a range of industries. If you’re looking at branding your own products, you must check it out.
I don’t have to tell you that not only is the packaging that is used to present your product important, so is the packaging of the product when it’s sent.
Everyone knows the thrill of receiving your latest purchase in the mail. Think about the packages that you’ve received and which are the ones that stand out? It usually comes down to the quality of the packaging, branding and the addition of something special you weren’t expecting.
All these elements can make or break a repeat purchase so pay careful attention to how you present your products and package them.

This is so true! I recently updated my Drink Me, Alice packaging from white organza bags to navy blue flocked pouches with the Drink Me, Alice logo printed on them in white. They look so much more special now!
It was also a huge consideration for Alegorie when choosing how to send products. I make sure every parcel is wrapped neatly in black tissue with black satin ribbon and a gift tag. Although I’m sure tissue-wrap gets crushed during the postal process!!

I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made?
